Children's Church

   Our "Junior Church" program meets during our Sunday morning worship service. Children age 3 through grade 7 are dismissed to the Christian Center class rooms from our regular worship service after we open in announcements and songs of praise (approximately 30 minutes in to our worship).

 

     Grades 8 through high school worship with the adults. An "Teen Afterglow" meeting is provided for those that wish to stay at 11:30 AM, otherwise they are dismissed with the adults after worship at 11:15 AM.

  

     The younger children meet in a Large Group of multiple ages with those that are attending Sunday School. We have three adults staffing this program and also use the older children (grades 5 - 7) as junior leaders. These middle-schoolers assist the pre-school and lower elementary children by working along side them. We've found this to be a very successful method of learning in our 10 years of Vacation bible School.

 

     The kids will hear a Bible story, do activities, perform or listen to Bible themed dramas, etc.. They then can be picked up during their snack time at 11:15 AM at the conclusion of our adult/teen worship gathering in the sanctuary.
